Dr. Mann qualified from the University of Birmingham in 1977. He began his career in general practice in Reading. After one year he moved to Germany where he bought his own practice near Minden. Working in Germany provided a completely different outlook to clinical practice, and through the generous funding of the German insurance system, he was able to gain invaluable experience in the more complicated aspects of the restorative and cosmetic treatment with excellent laboratory support. During this time he attended many courses/conferences in both Germany and England. In 2004 he returned to his native Leicestershire with his family, and joined the Oadby Dental Clinic. In 2008, he successfully completed a year long course in restorative dentistry. He is a member of the British Dental Association. When he is not looking at people's teeth, he enjoys shooting and diving.
